Tom White, Creative Director

Tom has always believed in the selling power of words and image. It was fueled by a love for books that included reading by flashlight under the covers.

An undergraduate degree in English from Fairfield University ("What are you going to do, teach?") was followed by work at several small New York agencies. Here he applied the power of the pen to projects ranging from direct mail to print to television and back again. Clients have included Moosehead Beer, Columbia House, ITT, New York Magazine, and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center.

In the battle to create great advertising, Tom not only attended the School of Visual Arts but earned an MBA from Fordham University. This creative/business combination has resulted in powerful marketing solutions for clients and more than a few questions as to whether Tom's a manic creative or a "suit."

At Heidelberg White, Tom has put his entrepreneurial/small agency experience to work building a lean, creative agency that knows a good fudge brownie when it tastes one.

A semi-retired rugby player with the x-rays to prove it, Tom spends his off-hours singing show tunes to his wife and daughters and criticizing the tremendous amount of bad advertising out there. Maybe some of it's yours?
